Ayu Azhari Calon Wakil Bupati Sukabumi merupakan calon Wakil Bupati yang montok serta hot dan panas, sebagai artis film dan sinetron.Fenomena munculnya artis seksi Ayu Azhari di panggung politik dengan mencalonkan diri sebagai wakil bupati Sukabumi melalui PDIP mulai menuai perhatian publik. Pengamat politik asal UGM Gaffar Karim menilai PDIP akan terancam rusak citranya jika memaksakan memasang Ayu sebagai bakal calon wabup yang akan didukung.

"Dalam politik itu kan tidak hanya bagaimana merebut kekuasaan, tetapi juga harus memperhatikan kompetensi. Ini berbahaya buat PDIP kalau dalam memutuskan asal-asalan. Apalagi Ayu baru turun di ladang ini (politik)," kata Gaffar kepada detikcom, Jumat (25/12/2009).

Menurut doktor lulusan Universitas di Australia ini, diterimanya orang-orang seperti Ayu Azhari dalam panggung politik menunjukkan meningkatnya pragmatisme politik dari parpol. Fenomena ini akan menjadikan ruang kaderisasi dan ideologisasi akan semakin pudar karena penghargaan terhadap kader tidak terjadi.

"Ini refleksi dari pragmatisme politik yang makin kuat. Bagi parpol yang penting jabatan politik diperoleh, sehingga asal memasang orang yang terkenal tanpa berfikir dia bisa melakukan apa," paparnya.

Dosen Fisipol UGM ini mengakui ada beberapa artis yang memang punya kemampuan dan kapasitas untuk terjun di dunia politik. tetapi banyak juga artis yang terjun ke dunia politik karena hanya bermodal popularitas semata.

"Banyak artis yang masuk ke politik untuk tujuan mencari jabatan publik. Kalau partai tidak jeli dan terlalu pragmatis akan semakin menjadikan partai itu ditinggalkan publik," tegasnya.

Citing the recent survey by NatWest International Personal Banking (NatWest IPB) and the Centre for Future Studies thinktank, Ms Williamson noted that Portugal is among the top three most attractive countries in terms of quality of life.

She noted that what expats are looking for is a way of life that is more affordable and of a higher quality than what they would have in the UK.

"Naturally, this means there is a strong level of demand for homes for sale in Portugal," she added.

At the start of 2008, Vanessa Bird of Baydonhill financial services firm predicted Portugal's property market will remain popular during this year.

"There has been considerable nervousness over the economy recently, but we believe that the majority of the established markets will remain robust over the next 12 months," she predicted.

Portugal is one of the countries Ms Bird believes will enjoy a "constant supply of purchasers", thanks to a "huge variety" in terms of the type of buyer, their financial circumstances and their purchasing motivation.

The motivation to achieve improved quality of life was the main driver for 37 per cent of expats surveyed by NatWest IPB and the Centre for Future Studies who have made the move abroad.

Of those questioned, nearly nine in ten said their new life in a foreign country was even better than they had anticipated it would be.

Ms Williamson commented that this is indeed the case in Portugal. Citing comments on expat forums, the spokesperson said other reasons include the country's favourable climate, wildlife, cuisine, low crime rates and terrorism threat, economic stability, landscape and the locals.

Finally, she said that the property factor remains a consideration, as Britons have the opportunity in Portugal to buy "sizeable and well-priced real estate once you step back from the coast".

Polri Dukung Aksi Hari Antikorupsi 9 Desember

Aksi 9 Desember Merupakan Gerakan Moral. Kepolisian Republik Indonesia menilai aksi massa dalam memperingati hari anti korupsi se-dunia yang akan dilakukan seluruh aktivis anti korupsi Rabu 9 Desember besok merupakan wujud dukungan kepada aparat penegak hukum untuk memberantas korupsi. Oleh karena itu, Kapolri, Jenderal Bambang Hendarso Danuri berjanji, Polri akan memberi dukungan kepada aksi tersebut dengan memberikan jaminan keamanan.

Aksi 9 Desember "Kita akan memberikan support untuk itu," ujar Kapolri kepada wartawan di Mabes Polri, Jakarta, Selasa 8 Desember 2009.

Bambang Hendarso menambahkan dia telah menginstruksikan kepada seluruh Polda di Indonesia untuk menjaga keamanan pada aksi damai yang juga akan digelar hampir diseluruh wilayah Indonesia.

Namun, untuk menciptakan suasana kondusif, dia juga meminta kepada masyarakat agar dapat bersinergi dengan aparat. Sehingga, dengan begitu dapat tercipta rasa aman dan nyaman baik kepada yang turut aksi maupun kepada seluruh masyarakat.

"Kita berharap situasi keamanan yang sudah kondusif ini harus tetap kita pertahankan," katanya.

Sementara, dalam pengamanan aksi massa yang rencananya akan diikuti oleh ribuan aktivis anti korupsi di seluruh Indonesia, Kapolri menyatakan, saat ini Polri belum membutuhkan TNI.

"Tentunya apapun kegiatan-kegiatan di daerah teritorial, (kita) butuh bantuan (TNI). Saya yakin tidak usah, Insya Allah tidak," kata dia.

Kekhawatiran adanya demo anarkhis pada 9 Desember muncul saat Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) mengaku menerima informasi dari badan intelijen bahwa ada sejumlah gerakan sosial antikorupsi pada Rabu mendatang. SBY khawatir gerakan itu dimanfaatkan dengan motif tertentu. Bahkan, SBY tahu siapa target para demonstran.

"Alhamdulillah, saya dapat pengetahuan yang relatif lengkap, tentang apa, siapa dan sasaran pada 9 Desember mendatang," kata SBY dalam pidato di Rapimnas Demokrat, Minggu 6 Desember 2009 kemarin.
