Mindscreen Film Institute

Film Terbaru - Mind Screen Film Institute is the applied art dedicated to the Film school for Cinematography and accessories which generally mirror influences of that time.

Creating films is about telling a story in a visual medium and suited to telling visual stories. There are certain visual effects which tell a story in a more believable manner. Bad cinematography can ruin even the best of scripts. The second eye stops believing in the film, the whole movie becomes one big visual distraction. If the camera work is terrible, the angles awkward and the cutting distracting, the audience will focus on those elements rather than get lost as an active observer of the story.

Creating movies is about creating an illusion. It's about making the viewers believe they are in the scenes with the actors as an observer. As a visual story teller it's your responsibility to ensure your audience can remain in this fantasy land for the duration of your film.

If you don't understand cinematography then you won't be able to keep your audience believing in the 3 dimensional illusion of your story.

Therefore our film school focuses heavily on cinematography and the process of creating a breathtakingly believable film.

These days, you can spend four years of your life and almost spend some lakhs to obtain a prestigious film degree from a big-name university. Yet once you hit the streets looking for a job in the entertainment industry, that hard-earned diploma may not land as many interviews or bring you as much respect as you imagined.

Indeed, you may find yourself losing out to someone without a degree but who happens to have some production credits, plus good connections.

This is why internships have become an increasingly effective way to get the proverbial foot in the door. Many producers and production managers no longer look to resumes but instead turn to colleagues for their hiring recommendations.

Experience sells, too, but good references are absolutely vital, especially in tight job markets. Producers and directors who are responsible for multimillion-dollar projects often have to hire quickly, and they must trust that the people who get the jobs will show up every day and give their best efforts.

Mind Screen Film Institute welcomes prospective candidates to come and visit the campus. This is certainly the best way to get a 'feel' for the place and meet those with whom you may work and socialize. All our Open Days are primarily aimed at August 2009 Batch who are considering applying to Mind Screen Film Institute and would like to find out more about the courses available and the admissions process. The programme Open Days include an opportunity to take a tour of the College.

Please note that attendance at an Open Day is not a prerequisite for applying, and those who apply without having attended an Open Day are not at a disadvantage with regard to admissions.

Dates (To apply for the courses): Applications for August batch can be started receiving from April 10, 2009 till July 31, 2009.

However, if you need any clarifications or encounter any discrepancy in the Mind Screen Film Institute courses provided here, do write to us.

We welcome any kind of feedback that will improve the quality of the site, a site that strives to provide the best information regarding Mind Screen Film Institute courses in India.

Seluruh Siswanya Tak Lulus UN‎

Handphone Nokia

Hp Nokia - Vanjoki, general manager of the cellphone giant, predicted Tuesday that camera phone technology would “in the very near future” render system DSLR cameras obsolete and that “those heavy lenses” would no longer be necessary. While we always welcome the possibility of lighter equipment, Vanjoki’s projection would be a very tall order.

Consider the current state of the art in system DSLRs: 24-plus megapixels on 24x36mm sensors, ISOs higher than 100,000, burst rates to 10 fps at highest quality. You’re not going to pack that many pixels onto a tiny camera phone sensor any time soon, let alone that kind of processing power. The smallest system cameras today, Micro Four Thirds, go no higher than 12 megapixels, using a sensor more than 10 times the area of a small compact’s. Image quality goes progressively south as sensor size goes down, primarily due to image noise.

This is okay for snapshooters, but not okay for serious amateurs and pros who demand better than good-enough. As our Technical Editor Phil Ryan notes, “It’s akin to recorded music. People are willing to put up with inferior audio quality in return for being able to have a ton of music on their iPods. But the sound quality can’t compare to a full stereo system.”

And “those heavy lenses” are the other essential for the best photo quality. While tiny lenses can be made to cover a fairly wide zoom range, they can’t provide the edge-to-edge sharpness and speed (f/2.8 and brighter) of today’s DSLR lenses.

Vanjoki’s other prediction that camera phones will have HD video recording within a year is technically feasible; 1080p HD video requires only 2 megapixels. But that still leaves the problem of those little teeny pixels. “What he’s saying is, we can give you the dots,” Ryan says. “But what those dots will look like is another matter. Camera-phone still imaging and video rely heavily on fixing all the problems that those sensors have, and they do an amazing job. But, in essence, you get what the camera phone thinks you were shooting, since it has to make decisions about what to do to the image to make it look decent. If cell phones could soon replace DSLRs, photographers would all have been happy shooting interpolated 1MP images on Sony Mavicas. They weren’t.”

Clash Of The Titans

"Clash of the Titans" isn't just a remake of an old 1980s fantasy feature — it's also a retelling of classic mythology. But the beheading of Medusa, the unleashing of the Kraken and the other tales told in "Clash" are far from the only mythological stories going through the Hollywood wheelhouse at the moment.

After the jump, we've listed six currently developing movies that are set to bring classic mythology back into the mainstream eye, just as "Clash of the Titans" did during its theatrical debut this weekend.

The Argonauts: In 2008, it was revealed that "The Avengers" and "X-Men" screenwriter Zak Penn would trade in his superpowers for a sword for "The Argonauts," a retelling of the classic Greek myth about a group of sailors who accompanied Jason on his quest to procure the legendary Golden Fleece. Little has been heard on "The Argonauts" front since then, but given the numerous adaptations of the tale over the years, it shouldn't be long before another version of the story crops up in theaters.

Arabian Nights: "The Last Song" actor Liam Hemsworth recently confirmed to MTV News that he'll star in a 3-D remake of "Arabian Nights," currently set for a September production start. The story focuses on Queen Scheherazade, who tells the nefarious Persian king a different story every day in order to prevent him from executing her. Hemsworth stars as a military man who joins with Sinbad (not the comedian) to rescue Scheherazade.

Greek Road: What does Vermont's state trooper department have in common with the Greek gods of ancient myth? Quite a lot, apparently, as comedy troupe Broken Lizard has long planned to pursue an R-rated comedy set in Ancient Greece called "Greek Road." Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme would play Plato and Socrates as they travel to Mount Olympus and meet Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, played by the other three Broken Lizard members. It's not clear when the gang will get to this film, but I think we can all agree that it couldn't happen soon enough.

The Odyssey: Some time has passed since we've heard further details on this project, but back in 2008, Brad Pitt and director George Miller were attached to a retelling of "The Odyssey," based on Homer's classic epic. But this isn't your great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather's "Odyssey," or even a sequel to Pitt's "Troy" — instead, this would thrust Odysseus straight out of our earthly stratosphere and into a space-spanning science fiction universe.

War of the Gods: Henry Cavill, Freida Pinto, Mickey Rourke and Kellan Lutz are just a few of the reputable actors getting ready to clash in "War of the Gods," a swords and sandals epic from "The Fall" director Tarsem Singh. "War of the Gods" focuses on young Theseus (Cavill) as he attempts to prevent a war between the younger Olympian gods and the elder Titan gods. While the subject is extremely similar to "Clash of the Titans," Tarsem Singh's unique directorial vision is sure to set the two projects apart.

Xerxes: After the success of Zack Snyder's "300" in 2006, it was only a matter of time before the filmmaker revisited the realm of ancient mythology. He'll do just that in "Xerxes," a prequel to "300" based upon the currently developing graphic novel from writer-artist Frank Miller. Miller previously revealed that the comic would focus on "the battle of Marathon through my lens" — in other words, you can count on all of Miller's signature cursing, violence and assorted vulgarity when this project eventually hits theaters!

Lynn's Skywatch for April is posted!

Primbon - Here's the introduction to give you an idea of what we're in for in April! If you'd like to join my mailing list and receive an abridged version of Skywatch that's translated into English with a minimum of geeky astrology language, just sign up on my website. And you can get daily planetary updates on my Facebook and Twitter pages as well.

Ramalan Primbon - They say when March comes in like a lion it goes out like a lamb, and the same can be said of this astrological period. April begins with lamb-like astrological weather - there is a nice elemental balance with the Sun and Mars both in fire signs, Jupiter in watery Pisces, Mercury and Venus both in Earth, and Saturn, Chiron and Neptune all in air. There are no major problematic aspects to contend with in early April, but as the month progresses Saturn will retrograde back into Virgo and begin to face off against Uranus in Pisces. But more on that later!

Pluto takes center stage this month as it prepares for its retrograde turn on the 7th. Pluto has been at a virtual standstill at 5 degrees Capricorn since early March, and if Pluto is aspecting your own chart you are certainly feeling it now! The intensity of Pluto dredges up old memories, emotions and situations from the past but also helps us to let go of anything that no longer serves our personal growth.

Mercury enters Taurus on the 2nd, and because it will turn retrograde on the 18th it will remain in Taurus for a longer period than the few weeks which it usually takes to travel through a zodiacal sign. In Taurus, the mental function and communication (Mercury) becomes very practical and grounded, with a tendency to want to define firm ideas and ways of thinking about the world we live in. In Taurus, Mercury has an easier time during its retrograde path because there is more introspection and planning than there is when Mercury is in the more active signs.

Venus is active during the first few days of the month. This Taurus Venus is grounded and calm, with a desire for serenity and comfort. It does not want disruption or chaos to disturb the hard-won peace of its inner world, and that helps to bring a greater level of serenity to our interactions with others until later in the month when Venus enters Gemini. Venus trines Ceres on the 2nd, helping us to be more aware of the needs of others and our own inner connections between our emotions and our spirit life.

On the 3rd Venus forms a challenging square to Mars which is presently in Leo. Mars in Leo is very self-oriented, and Venus in Taurus desires peace and comfort so when these two face off there could be some minor conflict for a day or so. However, when Venus makes a harmonious trine to Pluto on the 4th it will become easier to transform (Pluto) any disharmony into positive change and personal transformation. The trine of Mercury to Ceres that day will also help that process as we discover new ways of thinking (Mercury) about the things that are important to us (Ceres).

On the 5th and 6th communication takes center stage. A challenging square from Mercury to Mars on the 5th can energize the mind and help to sharpen our focus and solve problems, but it can also result in arguments and disagreements. Both planets are in fixed signs and a stubborn attachment to personal opinions can make it difficult to compromise. This will be assisted by a trine from Mercury to Pluto on the 6th, and because Pluto also retrogrades that day Pluto is at its most powerful and helps to ease the tension and push through the desired results.

Any time we are dealing with Pluto it's important to maintain a balance between clarifying our intention for what we want to see happen, and surrender to the powers of the Universe and our higher Self. Pluto empowers us, but it also wants us to be empowered at the highest level and not just from a place of ego. If our desires are not in harmony with the goal of the higher Self, they will not find fruition under Pluto's influence.

Obyek Wisata Karo ‎

Mega Do,inasi PDIP

Contoh Naskah Pidato - Pengamat politik Burhanuddin Muhtadi menilai pencalonan Megawati Soekarnoputri kembali sebagai Ketua Umum Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan sebuah dilema.

Contoh Pidato - "(Megawati) kartu truf sekaligus kartu mati," kata Burhan diwawancara VIVAnews melalui telepon, Kamis 1 April 2010.
